Guy Hart, Jr. is the managing partner and lead developer for Hart Lyman Cos. In this role, he has managed projects valued at more than $500 million. As the primary partnership negotiator for new initiatives, Guy has helped our clients drive value from their existing assets and understand key opportunities in their market. He has initiated and managed preferred development relationships with premier national tenants such as Walgreens, AT&T, Sprint, and others. Guy Jr. graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a double major in Government and International Studies.
Seamus P. Lyman, Esq. is the company’s General Counsel and lead partner responsible for the preparation, negotiation and administration of commercial real estate contracts, as well as general corporate/LLC and real estate tax planning and compliance. He is the corporate liaison to outside counsel, tenants’ counsel, brokers and title companies. Seamus matriculated from Syracuse University, where he earned Varsity Letters in both Wrestling and Lacrosse. He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and completed several LL.M. courses at Georgetown University Law Center. He has also studied abroad at the Freie Universität Berlin, and is fluent in both German and Spanish.
Guy Hart has over 44 years of Real Estate Brokerage and Development experience. He has been intimately involved in site selection, construction management, purchase and sale, and option contracts, as well as complex financing projects and property management. Guy owned and developed over 750 units of hotel and apartment properties prior to his partnership in HLC. Heavily involved in office and industrial real estate, Guy has focused in the retail and government development space for the past decade, building more than fifty free standing drug stores and shopping centers. Guy has been a New York State Real Estate Broker for over 45 years and has represented numerous commercial clients in New York and the Northeast.
Susan Poissant is the Senior Director of Development for HLC and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction development projects. Susan has managed the construction of more than $150 million of retail, municipal, and office development and construction projects. Susan is responsible for the development operations and negotiations with municipalities, contractors and associated professionals.
David Meath has over 25 years of experience in the wholesale distribution business and 20+ years in the commercial and industrial real estate business. David currently manages nearly half a million square feet of commercial and industrial building space in New York State. David has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating real estate leases and in business financing. He holds a New York State Real Estate Brokers License and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance. David has completed several U.S. Small Business Association loans, industrial revenue bonds, and other NYS Economic Development Zone programs. David has worked with many municipalities, local development corporations, industrial development agencies, and many commercial lenders. David is a former director and currently a consultant to the Champlain National Bank. He is also a member of the Finance Committee at the University of Vermont’s Medical Center.

Ryan J. Buckley, Managing Director of the Southeast Office, joined Hart Lyman Companies in 2012. Ryan has directed the acquisition, development and redevelopment of over $50,000,000 of retail projects in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana. Prior to joining Hart Lyman Companies, Ryan was a partner with Riverwood properties and developed more than $75,000,000 of retail projects throughout the southeast. A native of Savannah, Ryan earned a B.B.A. in Finance from Mercer University and began his commercial real estate career in Atlanta.
Mr. Jose O. Rodriguez is the Managing Director for International Operations at Hart Lyman Companies. Jose is able to leverage a global network of public-private industry relationships developed over 28 years of international defense and business experience to expand international partnerships and drive business development. He assists business partners to enter complex international markets, including Central-South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Rodriguez is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Defense Attaché Course. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations, Troy University, Alabama, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, University of Puerto Rico.

Andrew Day is the Managing Director for Capital Markets. He focuses on project analysis and finance, investor and bank relations and new project development. Andy has 20 years of Commercial Lending and Corporate Finance experience at two of the world’s largest banks, as well as local community banks. He has served a wide variety of Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial clients in several of the largest metropolitan markets. He earned a B.S. from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse University.
