Guy W. Hart, Jr. is the primary liaison to HLC’s largest ongoing clients. He has been a primary driver for about $250 million in development over the last five years. Guy is the primary partnership negotiator for new initiatives, including our joint venture, ARAMARK/Hart Lyman Entertainment LLC. Guy is the primary liaison to HLC’s largest ongoing clients. He has spearheaded Preferred Development relationships with national tenants such as Walgreens, AT&T, Sprint, etc. Guy has been instrumental in rolling out our international consulting arm. Guy attended the University of South Carolina where he received B.A. with Double Major in Government and International Studies.
Seamus P. Lyman, Esq. is the company’s General Counsel and lead partner responsible for the preparation, negotiation and administration of commercial real estate contracts, leases and closings; general corporate/LLC and real estate tax planning and compliance; and company liaison to outside counsel, tenants’ counsel, brokers and title companies. Seamus’s education consists of the following: Syracuse University: B.A., German Language, Literature & Culture 1995, and M.A., Linguistic Studies 2001; Nova Southeastern University, Juris Doctor 1999; Georgetown University Law Center: LL.M., International and Comparative Laws 2000, and LL.M., Taxation 2008; and the Freie Universität Berlin, Center for Global Politics: Berlin, Germany, Eastern European Studies. Seamus speaks German and Spanish.
Guy Hart has over 44 years of Real Estate Brokerage and Development experience. He has been intimately involved in site selection, construction management, purchase and sale, and option contracts, as well as complex financing projects and property management. Guy has completed copious Real Estate transactions through the years. He has owned and developed over 750 units of hotel and apartment properties previous to his partnership in HLC. Guy was heavily involved in office and industrial real estate transactions for many years, and had primarily concentrated in retail and government development for the past decade building over fifty free standing drug stores and owning and managing several shopping centers. Guy has been a New York State Real Estate Broker for over 45 years and has represented numerous commercial clients in New York and the Northeast.
Susan Poissant is the Senior Director of Development for HLC and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction development projects. With over 20 years’ experience, she managed the construction of over $150 million of retail, municipal, and office projects. Susan runs the day to day operations and negotiates with all associated professionals, municipalities, and contractors.
David Meath has over 25 years of experience in the wholesale distribution business and 20+ years in the commercial and industrial real estate business. David currently manages nearly half a million square feet of commercial and industrial building space in New York State. David has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating real estate leases and in business financing. He holds a New York State Real Estate Brokers License and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance. David has completed several U.S. Small Business Association loans, industrial revenue bonds, and other NYS Economic Development Zone programs. David has worked with many municipalities, local development corporations, industrial development agencies, and many commercial lenders. David is a former director and currently a consultant to the Champlain National Bank. He is also a member of the Finance Committee at the University of Vermont’s Medical Center.
Ryan J. Buckley, Managing Director of the Southeast Office, was raised in Savannah, Georgia. After graduating from Mercer University with a BBA in Finance, Ryan moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to begin a career in the real estate industry. Realizing the abundance of opportunity in the metropolitan Atlanta area, Ryan entered the commercial real estate sector in 2002. Ryan joined Hart Lyman Companies in 2012, where he has been managing the Southeastern office. Ryan is instrumental in acquisition, development and redevelopment of over $50,000,000 of retail projects in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana. Prior to joining Hart Lyman Companies, Ryan was a partner with Riverwood Properties, in Atlanta, Georgia. During his 10-year career with Riverwood Properties, he developed more than $75,000,000 of retail projects throughout the southeast.
Mr. Jose O. Rodriguez is the Managing Director for International Operations at Hart Lyman Companies, LLC. He focuses on business development and expanding international partnerships by leveraging a global network of public-private industry relationships developed over 28 years of international defense and business experience. He assists business partners to enter complex international markets, including Central-South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, U.S. Armed Forces College, Norfolk, VA, and the Defense Attaché Course, Defense Intelligence Institute, Washington, D.C. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations, Troy University, Alabama, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, University of Puerto Rico.
Andrew Day is the Managing Director for Capital Markets. He focuses on project analysis and finance, capital raise, investor and bank relations and overall company forecasting as well as new project development. Andy has 20 years of Commercial Lending and Corporate Finance experience having served in various Vice President roles at two of America’s largest banks and two community banks. He has served a wide variety of Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial clients in several Top 50 U.S. MSAs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Use Planning from The SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse University.
